Inspired by ‘no-mow-may’. A campaign to encourage gardeners let their lawns grow free allowing flowers to grow and bees to visit. We’ve used the yellows of the primrose flower, found all over our wild and unkempt lawn at home.
This is our first experiment in triple yellow hues. The sweatshirt received multiple ties up and dips in the dye bath until each colour has fully established. We wanted to recreate the many shades of primrose, pale daffodils and tulips we’re so fond of at this time of at this time of year.

I ordered the Primrose hand-dyed t shirt and the Cassius long sleeved jumper. They are both so lovely. I have always been a massive fan of tie dye, so to know that these have been created in such personalised and ethical conditions is lovely.
